How to Delete a Device on the Web Interface

This page describes how to delete a device on the web interface.

Navigation and Deletion

Navigate either to My Pis or Device Table, which you can find in the sidebar.

Find the device you would like to delete and click on the icon that looks like a garbage can.

It will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the device.

If yes, click "Delete". If no, click "Cancel".

Following these steps will only remove your device from the PiCockpit web interface. If you wish you uninstall PiCockpit from your device then please continue reading.

Uninstalling PiCockpit

When you delete your device from the web interface, the client stops automatically.

However, to uninstall the client entirely, you need to run:

sudo apt-get purge picockpit-client
