Group Devices

This page is all about grouping devices on the PiCockpit web interface.

Non-hierarchical Groups

Groups on PiCockpit are non-hierarchical. In other words, groups can contain both devices as well as other groups.

Groups can also share devices and groups.

If you click on "View", you can see all of the group's contents.

If you click on "Edit", you can change the name, tags, and description of the group.

If you click on "Delete", you can delete the group, which will not delete the contents of the group.

Please note that when deleting a group, it will not ask you if you want to confirm.
